Clinic Update

Wildflower's patient load continues to rise--in September 2023 we served 168 medical patients in the clinic as compared to 119 in 2022, and 119 dental patients compared to 46 a year ago!

Traffic for the walk-in medical clinics has tripled over the last few months. We attribute this to patients recently losing their Medicaid coverage (due to a post-COVID Medicaid program "Redistribution") and to the growth of St. Johns County's population overall.

Wildflower Healthcare continues to offer prescription assistance for our patients, but the rules are changing and it takes real dedication on our staff's part to process orders and make sure they are filled in a timely manner. Some things like inhalers can be hard to acquire, but patients can rest assured that we always strive to do the very best we can for them.

We are very grateful to our volunteer providers and our referral partners in the community. Even though there is sometimes a bit of a wait for specialists, it is worth it when our patients get the care they need without fees!
