What's Up with the Medical Mobile Unit?

You may have noticed that the former "Plus Bus" has lost its teal shell, and now is proudly wrapped in the Gator blue and orange of UF Health. It's now officially the UF Health St. Johns Mobile Unit.

Now that the exterior is done, it's time for the interior to receive some necessary repairs and upgrades. The bus will be headed up to North Carolina for it's rehab in mid-April, and will be back some time in July.

But rest assured, the mobile clinics will continue! We are grateful to be able to use a room inside the Home Again St. John's office and in the Hastings Library in the interim. At the Dining with Dignity site downtown, we will set up tents and practice real "street medicine" for a few months! We'll still have our expert providers, top-of-the-line supplies and cleanliness standards, privacy and professionalism as we always do.

Here is the schedule for our monthly mobile clinics:

First Wednesday from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Home Again St. Johns at 285 S. Holmes Blvd.

Second Tuesday from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Hastings Library at 6195 S. Main St.

Third Wednesday from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. at Dining with Dignity, corner of Granada and Bridge Sts.

We are looking for a new site for our mobile clinics during the fourth week of each month, and will keep you posted!

We greatly appreciate our partnership with UF Health St. Johns, and are so grateful for the care they are taking to keep the bus in tip-top condition. We look forward to seeing patients in the upgraded vehicle later this summer!
